Here's a useful book full of standards from the Great American Songbook. Sure, its got its own bricks you're never going to play, but for the most part, it is a distillation of the Sinatra repertoire, which translates to a lot of singable jazz tunes with strong melodies. Like a Fake Book, the songs all fit onto an open 2 page spread -- no turning pages. They aren't "sheet music." The binding is cheap plastic shower curtain hooks, so it is not very durable. The first one I ordered came missing pages 83 to 117! But Amazon immediately replaced it -- good job! Count your pages, and enjoy your music! I am enjoying all the songs but there are many that are written in complicated keys (5 flats- 5 sharps) Wish it had been written in easier keys for those with limited talent
