I like unusual tales of Michigan's history. Many of the stories originated back around the turn of the century. Enjoyed the book, but some stories seemed incomplete.

The book was written based on true newspaper articles of the time. Enjoy the read very much. The county in which I was born had an earthquake, I did not know this fact..........
Good stories, Although mostly weird news stories seemingly copied from old newspapers. Some good some just ok. Worth a read.
I found these tales very interesting and wish there were more books available regarding the history of the Upper Peninsula.
